Euro Cylinders
Euro cylinders are used on uPVC doors, and usually conform to BS 3621; insurance companies will be happy with this lock installed. These locks are commonly used with a Multi-Point Locking Mechanism. The cylinder itself can be easily replaced, and are available from a wide range of manufacturers (although many still refer to them as "Union locks".
Euro cylinders come in three main types. “Double Key” cylinders can be locked and unlocked from both sides of the door. “Key and Turn” cylinders can only be locked and unlocked using a key on one side of the door, with a manual thumbturn present on the other side. “Single Key” cylinders can only be locked or unlocked from one side of the door.

We can install and fit door chains, internal door locks, and spy holes to doors, to increase security, especially for the elderly and vulnerable. For Hailsham commercial premises, we can install door bolts, combination locks and change manual shutter lock barrels. For all our Hailsham customers, we can change door and window handles. All locks supplied come with 2 keys; however, more can be supplied on request, for a small fee.
